Flexflooring has recently added a new string to our bow by completing two Stonex resin bound driveway installations.

The first of these projects saw Flexflooring install Stonex in Daltex Golden Quartz (2-5mm) onto a flat driveway and pathway with two steps.  The client was concerned about the visibility of the steps, so decided on a dual colour scheme with Flexflooring, which included a band of Daltex Red (2-5mm), acting as a safety feature clearly highlighting where each step is located.  Our Stonex product was installed over the existing block paving, which was in good order and was ready to use within 48 hours.

The second project saw the creation of a new unique aggregate mix by the client of 50% Rose Pink (1-3mm) and 50% Daltex Silver (2-5mm).  The cool colour works well against the plants and shrubs surrounding the driveway.  Whilst this installation included a steep section, it was not an issue for Stonex; a Resin Bound Stone, in which the aggregate is totally encapsulated within the resin and therefore remains incredibly strong, resilient and hard wearing.

These two recent projects follow on from our first 2 colour installation around a swimming pool using Stonex 2-3mm.  Further images of all 3 projects can be found by going to our Stonex gallery or by clicking here.

So remember if rubber is not for you, don’t discount Flexflooring, we could still have the perfect flooring solution for you
