Mflex

A specialist non slip coating for the wet leisure industry, ideal for splashpads or concrete paddling pools.

An alternative product. It is a polyurethane coating system that combines a polyurethane with a fine EPDM crumb. It is a specialist non slip coating ideal for splashpads. It exhibits excellent firm hardness, flexibility, good water and abrasion resistance coupled with excellent weathering properties.

Product Pictures 010MFLEX is coloured polyurethane coating which is combined with a very fine rubber crumb to give a colourful slip resistant  coating. Because the non slip component is rubber, this is a lot less harsh than similar silica products, ideal for kids.

It is commonly used on splashpads and in concrete paddling pools. Mflex needs a smooth concrete surface, to which Flexflooring will apply suitable primers.

MFLEX utilises the latest in dispersion technology resulting in a superior product with the added advantage of being environmentally friendly.

Mflex is a product developed by Flexflooring in a bid to find a more cost effective solution to surfacing splashparks.

We have installed on a number of splashparks around the country. Apart from price, one of it’s advantages is that it is not a particularly skilled installation and as such any repairs are easily carried out.

It must be remembered that it is designed for a wet environment with bare foot traffic, so if your splash park gets used in the winter as a skateboard park, there is a chance that the Mflex surface will scratch and could get damaged.
