Product: Resin Bound Stone
Project Background
We installed 126m² of Resin Bound Stone for a domestic customer. The installation included a pool surround, pathways, raised seating area, floating steps and outdoor shower area. The client chose the Canberra colour blend.
The Process
Installing onto a concrete base, we hand trowelled Vuba resin bound stone for this project, which included many curves, vertical surfaces and edging. Resin Bound Stone is a SuDS compliant permeable blend of natural stone aggregate, combined with a strong polyurethane UV stable resin to ensure a long-lasting surface. Installed at 18mm, it is an extremely hard wearing, durable surface. We also incorporated Vuba Structural Reinforcement Mesh (SRM) on this project for additional strength and reduce the possibility of reflective cracking.
We incorporated flexible and straight trims as well as recessed manhole covers to allow for a truly seamless surface.
The Outcome
The client is left with a stunning porous pool surround with modern seamless pathways and seating as part of a gorgeous relaxing garden.
