Project Background
Working for a senior school in North London, we installed 1,260m² of Vuba Resin Bound Stone in the school playground. The client chose the Beretta colour blend.
The Process
Resin Bound Stone is a SuDS compliant permeable blend of natural stone aggregate, combined with a strong polyurethane UV stable resin to ensure a long-lasting surface. Installed by power trowel at 18mm it is an extremely hard wearing, durable surface. We also installed onto Vuba Structural Reinforcement Mesh (SRM) at the edge of the installation for additional strength.
The Outcome
The school now has a totally seamless, porous surface. This ensures that there is no standing water on the hardwearing surface. The playground will be in great condition for many years to come.
