Epoxy coatings for garage floors

We recommend epoxy coatings for domestic garage flooring.  This is the most cost-effective system we offer.  Normally applied to a concrete slab, we recommend preparation work should include

  • Grinding the existing surface using diamond tooling
  • Applying a primer coat

Epoxy finishes and self-levelling options

We then install 2 coats of pigmented epoxy.  It is worth noting that the coating is a very thin layer and will therefore reflect the quality of the concrete slab.  In addition, an anti-slip poly bead can be installed to increase the slip resistance of the floor.

We also offer epoxy self levellers, or self smoothers.  This is an epoxy coating combined with a filler that gives the epoxy more depth.  This can be used to regenerate the surface and will cover any minor imperfections in the concrete slab.
