Resin Bonded gravel is different. This is where a layer of resin is first spread onto a surface (such as concrete or tarmac) and loose aggregate is then scattered on to the resin. Once cured, the loose gravel is brushed off. (as opposed to bound gravel, where there is no loose stones; the aggregate being entirely integral with the resin)

Consequently it is easy to get confused between the two, particularly when getting quotes for a resin driveway or external surfacing, so do ensure you are getting quotes for the same thing. Resin bonded gravel tends to be a less expensive system, but is not as hard wearing as resin bound gravel.
