Porsche Chiswick

436m2 Expoxyflex, 250m2 stonex quartz carpet
Project Background
Flexflooring have worked along side BDB installing a number of surfaces at some of the big brand car dealerships. One such dealership was Porsche, Chiswick, where Flexflooring installed 436m2 of Remmers Epoxyflex PH system with non-slip media and over 250m2 of stone carpet. This work compliments other installations at Audi Poole, Audi Tunbridge Wells and Audi Reading. Epoxyflex is a solvent free, 2 component product with static crack bridging properties, ideal for mechanically loaded surfaces submitted to heavy foot and vehicle traffic.
Prep Work
The first week of the project involved preparing the concrete slab, in order to take the Epoxyflex coating. Due to the nature of the slab, Flexflooring first installed Optiplan base to level the surface.
Once the Optiplan base had been installed, the surface was ready for a first coat of Epoxyflex PH, with Porsche opting for a mid-grey mix with a heavy anti-slip coating to ensure maximum non-slip properties.

ST100, DKI Quartz, Optiplan base, BS200, Epoxyflex PH, Acolan Pore filler, PUR Aqua top. ADD250, 1-2mm midnight black quartz
Black 1-2mm Stone
At the same time Flexflooring installed approximately 250m2 of a black 1-2mm stone in the service lane. This was then pore filled and a gloss water based sealing coat applied to give a slick polished road like look. High quality surfaces for a high quality brand.
